*****UPDATED: After two days of the army crawl, little miss Sophia went back to the traditional crawl. Sometimes she alternates between the two... traditional crawl when she is leisurely exploring the house and a fast army crawl when she sees a toy that she wants! Too cute!!********
A few weeks ago Sophia began to master the 'army crawl' technique. Then she started practicing what we call her 4-point stance. Basically she would get on her hands and knees and begin to rock forward and backward with an occasional 'frog jump' (pulling her knees to her hands). Then last week she decided she wanted to crawl! Watching her crawl was the cutest thing ever! Being a novice at crawling, we were not surprised that there were a few bumps and bruises. After a couple days of the traditional crawl she decided she much preferred the army crawl! Hilarious! So now she is back to army crawling around the house. She is surprisingly fast too!

That is so cute! Jacob army crawled, did the push up stance and crawled. He decided he liked army crawling the best and did so from 5-10 months. Then at 10 months he went back to the traditional crawl before walking. It is so neat how they prefer one way over the other at specific times. We love your vacation family pics!!!
