Our sweet Sophia turned 9 months old today! She is the most precious little thing and we thank God for her every single day. She has filled our lives with so much love and special moments that it is hard to remember what we did before she got here!
She has grown and developed so much this month that it is overwhelming for Mommy and Daddy. This month Sophia became an expert at crawling and transitioning, started pulling up, began cruising around furniture, started walking with her push toys, started taking a few steps at a time but herself, become more verbal and began constantly 'talking'. She loves to wave and say hi, bye, bird and Dada. Oh, how we love this sweet girl!
She went on a food strike about about two weeks ago and stopped eating baby food and finger foods cold turkey. It is the weirdest thing. For two and a half months she ate everything I gave her and now she won't even open her mouth. Nope. Not even for a cheerio. Or a yogurt melt. Nothing at all. In fact she shakes her head no and turns the other way. Hmmmmm. Her pediatrician said as long as she is nursing well, sleeping good and growing there is nothing to worry about. Thankfully, all is well but I sure do miss feeding her 'real food'.

Aunt Chelsea was here visiting for two and a half weeks and Sophia loved playing with her! Sophia also got to spend the night with both grandparents and had such a wonderful time. She also had many fabulous play dates with her neighborhood friends. Here are some pictures from the last month:
