Trip to Virgina!

We left Sophia with the Grandparents for the weekend while we went on a trip Charlottesville, Virginia. Home to University of Virginia (where Dan got his master's degree), Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home), wonderful vineyards and gorgeous scenery. Dan has always talked about how pretty it is there but I was absolutely shocked. It is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in the U.S.!
Our friends Ryan and Rachel met us there and we all had a fabulous weekend. They live in Washington D.C. so we cherish the time we get to spend with them. Their little girl, Lauren, is a month older than Sophia and we just know they will be best friends when they grow up! They are coming to Dallas for a wedding in November and the girls will meet for the first time! So exciting :) Here are some pictures from the trip:
