To say that we had a busy fourth of July weekend is definitely an understatement! We drove to Oklahoma on Friday morning and thankfully beat most of the traffic. About halfway there we stopped at a gas station for a 'potty break'.
Sophia started saying, "Look Mommy goats! Goats! Daddy look at goats!". What??!! Oh yes, there were goats grazing in the field right next to the gas station parking lot.
As you can probably guess, Sophia was more than excited to see them! Of course, Dan couldn't resist the urge to say use one of his favorite lines, "Only in Oklahoma!". We hear it quite often when visiting my birth state ;-)

Our little firecracker!
Still trying to figure out how to turn it on ;-)
Not only were we celebrating Independence Day, but the first ever Thionnet Family reunion was scheduled for that weekend as well. It was so fun to see extended family and to meet distant relatives for the first time. Sophia was definitely in her element with all the people oohing and aahing over her ;-) By the time we got home Sunday night all three of us were exhausted. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend!
