We went to Sophia's Navidad Latina program tonight. It was so sweet and beyond adorable! They have been practicing it for a while and their costumes were just too cute. Sophia's class performed three times, Noche de Paz (Silent Night), Llego de Navidad (Deck the Halls) and Tres Deseos (Three Wishes) with all the classes. It was all in Spanish, but we could make out most of the songs by the sound of the music.
The first song they performed was Noche de Paz (Silent Night).
Aren't their angel costumes adorable?
Sophia and her friend, Scarlett
This is Sophia's teacher, Ms Yli. I can't say enough good things about her. Ms Yli is the sweetest, most nurturing lady and S absolutely adores her. We are going to be so sad when S ages out of her class in August :-(
They had a great time with their candles...
This picture cracks me up. I love how they're all doing something different! Typical three year olds :-)
S really got into waving her candle...
Obviously this was a very serious song since most of them didn't crack a smile... haha! :-)
Their next song was Llego de Navidad (Deck the Halls). Ms Yli made all of the girls tutu's for the program. So cute!
How cute are those hats too?
This song was a little more upbeat and they really got into the motions!
The candy canes were such a cute prop!
What a fun dance!
S and her friend, Candace, lining up to perform the last song Tres Deseos (Three Wishes) with all the classes.
As you can probably tell by the pictures, it was a full stage and a little chaotic :-)
But still adorable!
Poor little guy was so upset :-(
Some of these pictures were so overexposed, but I still wanted them to be part of the post, hence the random black and white pics :-)
We love these ladies too...
Ms Ana (SSH Director) and Ms Peggy (SSH owner)
We were so proud of our little performer :-)
I didn't realize how much my belly was starting to show until I looked at this picture. So funny :-) (I think I was around 18 weeks here)
