Our precious boy is one month old today! He is the sweetest, calmest, cutest little guy we have ever seen and we (especially Mommy!) can NOT get enough of him! I swear I can not stop kissing him. All. Day. Long. He is pure sugar I tell you.
What a sweet blessing Carsten is! He steals everyones heart as soon as they see his sweet face. We went to Miss Melanie's house this morning to take his 1 month pics. Sophia was in OK with Mimi Debbie and Poppa Kent and she would be so sad if she knew that she missed an opportunity to go play at Corinne's house. Shhhh... don't tell :-) After pics and some sweet snuggles with Mel, we left for breakfast. C slept the whole time and Dan and I enjoyed a yummy breakfast.
C's hair is the same color as Sophia's was, but his is a little fluffier :-) Hers only fell out on the sides, but his is starting to slowly fall out on top as well. Right now his eyes are still blue, and I have a feeling they will stay that way. They are similar to the color mine were as a baby. S's were more of a blue-gray so I always thought hers may change and they did around 10 months. Now she has her Daddy's hazel/green eyes.
I can't wait to see how much he changes each month for the next year. Thanks so much for the pictures, Melanie!!!
