How in the world has it already been six months?! What an amazing six months it has been! God knew exactly what we needed when gave us sweet Carsten. He is an absolute angel baby and we could not be more in love with him. He still has yet to really cry or even have a fussy spell. I am not even kidding… it has totally blown our minds. The other day someone said to me, "Babies cry when they need something. He HAS to cry." The statement is totally true, but I truly think he just doesn't really need anything. Since I'm nursing I usually know when we have gone long enough in between feedings and he also starts to chew on his fingers when he is hungry. So I feed him, change him and then he just falls asleep. It is sooooo wonderful!
We just can't get over how calm and content Carsten is all the time. He is so laid back, flexible and patient. The poor guy is constantly being covered in kisses from his Daddy, Sister and I. It is so interesting how you can see their little personalities from the time they are tiny infants. Sophia is our wild flower… passionate, creative, loves deeply, independent. Carsten is our summer rain… calm, gentle, sweet, good for the soul. So thankful we get to have the best of both! :-)
We dropped Sister off at school and then on the way home we stopped at a park to take a couple pics of this cutie :-)
