This sweet girl has absolutely amazed us with how gracefully she has transitioned through all the crazy changes that have come her way. We could not be more proud of the sweet, smart, sympathetic, loving kind girl that she is. Sophia will be 5 1/2 next week and I feel like just yesterday I kissed her newborn head for the first time.
This is the first time at SSH Keller that she has gotten Periquito Azul. To say she was excited is an understatement! It is such an honor at their school to get Periquito for the week. It's kind of a lot of work, but so worth it :-) They basically take him everywhere for the entire week, take pictures of everything to document and then put it in the SSH Periquito Azul book. Pre-Carsten I probably would have used my real camera, edited the pics, typed everything and made it super cute for the book. Instead I used my phone for pics, Sophia and I both wrote about the weeks activities in the book and then she decorated it with marker. And guess what… it was just as special and fun! :-)
