How i the world is my baby 5 years old already?! I feel like I blinked and the years just flew by. We could not be more proud of the sweet, empathetic, kind, smart, passionate girl that she has become. She amazes us everyday and I know God has big plans in store for her.
Sophia opted not to have a party this year and instead I suggested a weekend full of her favorite things :-) She was SO excited at the thought of doing all her favorite things and having a girls weekend with Mama. Honestly, I was super excited also! It just so happens we have a lot of 'favorites' in common :-) Some of the highlights of the weekend included pizza for dinner, red velvet bundt cake for dessert, going to a movie, spending the night in a hotel, getting to sleep in the same bed as Mama (such a treat for her!), swimming at the hotel, pedicures, painting pottery and sushi for lunch. It was an awesome weekend and I hope she chooses to celebrate this way every year. Such a fun and special weekend :-)
This girl truly has my heart :-)
Happy 5th birthday to the one who made me a Mama. I love you mucho mucho.
