Yes, she loves organization. Yes, she craves order. Yes, she is my child.
This is not surprising since she has always tried to color inside the lines, and became proficient at it around the she turned two. We don't really do any ditto sheets at home, but she brings home plenty of them from school. This is the only pic I had on my phone, but I think that it is from around January 2011. Last year, her teachers would always told me how upset she got when the other kids would color all over their page instead of inside the lines. Oh dear. Her current artwork is extremely meticulous for an almost three year old. I really try to encourage creativity (hence the blank art paper we use at home), but this child does LOVES ditto sheets because of their defined boundaries. I find it so interesting how her art work seems to reflect her personality in many ways :-) Don't worry... I may not take pictures of her art, but I do keep a portfolio of her art/school work for each school year :-)
