Our Little Turkey

We spent Thanksgiving with family in Oklahoma this year. There were about thirty-five adults and about ten kids. It was so good to get to see everyone and Sophia had a blast playing with her first and second cousins. She and Memphis are the two youngest and they LOVE being around the older kids. We have so many blessings to be thankful for and family is definitely at the top of the list :-)

Somehow I forgot my camera, but I did manage to get a picture of this little turkey before we left home that morning. I'll just blame my forgetfulness on being sixteen weeks pregnant with a BOY!!!! That's right… we are having a precious baby boy! We actually found out a little over three weeks ago, but wanted to have a second ultrasound last week just to confirm. From the moment they told us the sex Sophia has been calling him baby Sam. Super sweet and really random since we don't know any kids named Sam. The only thing we could think of was maybe they talked about Samuel in Sunday school. It will be interesting to see if she continues to call him Sam. After all… she did call herself Sara for a year :-)
