Big Sister!

This little munchkin is soooooo excited to be a BIG SISTER!  I'm praying that it continues once the baby is actually here.  I know that she will have her moments, but I really think that by May she will be so used to us talking about and including the baby that it will help make it a natural transition.  At least that's what we are hoping for :-)
Lately Sophia has been practicing feeding, rocking and putting her baby dolls to sleep.  Which is interesting because she hasn't played with them much since she was about 20 months old (other than stuffing them in her shirt to 'grow them in her tummy').  The other day I walked into the playroom and she had two piles of toys on the floor.  I asked her if she was organizing her toys (which is a common activity around here) and she said,  "These toys are safe for baby peanut to play with and these toys will make the baby choke and cough."  So I inspected the piles and she had actually done a great job of separating them.  Another funny moment was one of the first times she was around Corinne's baby brother, Keller, she told me, "We only touch and kiss babies on their feet because our germs can make them sick".  I guess they really do soak up everything you say.  Let's just hope it sticks!
Melanie let us borrow C's Big Sis outfit and her backdrop/lighting to do some pics.  S gave me a few quick smiles and then she and C got to play the rest of the morning.  She loooooves playing at C's house because 'she has the best toys'.  Haha!  I'm sure we will hear this phrase a lot in the next ten years :-)

Love this big sister!
