We had our first snow/ice of the year and the entire metroplex shut down. Not even joking. It took several days for them to clear the roads and most everything was closed (with the exception of Target, Wal-Mart and a few restaurants.)
The kids looooved playing in the snow!
The 'big kids' - Graham, Holyn, Sophia and Brooks. Caitlyn and Carsten were bundled up and ready to play, but new, little Baby Beau was a little too chilly for pics :-)
Sweet Caitlyn was the only one that would look at me when I got my real camera out. Imagine that :-)
I did get some action shots of C hard at 'work'
He was really into eating the snow :-)
Sister thought it would be fun to push C in a tub...
good thing he is a good sport :-)
Sophia spent the night with Mimi Beckie and Poppa Larry. They made Christmas candy/cookies and delivered it to all their neighbors. Dan and I went on a date night to Trulucks (which was one of the few restaurants open). Then one day we took C to Target and we were basically the only ones there. Not exaggerating. It was awesome.
I loved the time at home with my little family. The kids made forts, we ate yummy food, played in the snow and we all took really good naps. Such a fun ice-cation :-)
Clothes were optional of course.
This one won the award for longest naps each day. Usually 3.5-4 hours a day.
I know I've said it before, but I could eat him up he's so sweet!
