They sang Jingle Bells in Spanish and shook their jingle bells. He even rang his bells on cue once or twice :-)
Being only 19 months old he is the youngest one in his class. His class starts at 18 months and then they stay in that class until they turn 3. So he will be with these sweet teachers for about a year and a half. Most of the kids on the front row have already turned 3. At first I was worried about him being in there with kids that are that much older, but they split the class into two different age groups for a good portion of the day.
Seconds before he spotted Mama...
Here come the tears :-(((((((
Poor baby. Luckily the song was over and they got to exit the stage to sit with their parents :-)
He was BURNING up hot when he came off stage so he wanted to strip down :-) I mean… those costumes were made of felt and it was 800 degrees in the church auditorium. Mimi can't get enough of his sweetness and neither can I.
As soon as he got cooled down and had a little milk he was done with Mama. All he wanted was Poppa Kent for the rest of the night. So sweet :-)
Then it was time for Sophia's class to perform...
It's all in Spanish so it's a little hard to tell, but it was basically the shepherds, animals and wise men looking for Baby Jesus. I think. I get a little lost at these Spanish performances sometimes :-)
When she spotted us :-)
Then their next song was a traditional Spanish Christmas song...
They were really into in :-)
Sophia did SO well. She loves to sing, dance and perform so this is so fun for her! :-)
Carsten wanted to touch the traditional ornament on the tree so bad. So of course Poppa let him :-)
This is what happens when we try to get pictures at events. This is reality folks. Ha!
Sophia (on left) was at SSH last year and this year she in Kinder. Her and my Sophia always get so excited when they get to see each other at SSH events. Her little brother still goes to SSH so we see them often.
Little guy LOVED all the pretty decorations. He wanted to touch everything to see if it was real.
He is just the happiest, sweetest little guy!
