A friend on mine told me about a field down the street from my house that has the most beautiful bluebonnets. Of course we had to go check it out :-) I drove by to check it out and it was gorgeous! Super convenient and totally safe also because it's in a neighborhood (versus off a highway, busy street, etc). After seeing it I knew we needed to take pics there.
Since Dan is such a fan of pictures (HA HA HA) I brought him along to help :-)

We were actually on our way to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt so we only spent about 5-10 minutes taking these. I knew we got a couple cute ones, but if you know me then you know it takes me FOREVER to load them on my computer, narrow them down, edit them, etc. This time of year is so busy so I honestly had no idea when I would actually make them a priority. So a few days after we took these that same friend texted me and told me that the photographer she uses was offering a mini session in the same field. SCORE!!! I was so excited because these were also going to be C's 2 year pictures and the kids first bluebonnet pics together and I wanted them to be really good. More bluebonnet pics coming soon….
