I was beyond thrilled to find out that a local photographer was offering Bluebonnet minis in the field by my house. I wanted to use them for C's two year pictures and also print some for his party. I'm sure I could have gotten it done, but what a relief that I didn't have to :-) They are so much cuter than mine were and I even got to be in a few with them! I did not come 'camera ready' (that was residual make-up from 7am that morning before Bible study, park, lunch, nap, etc), but thank goodness for photoshop!
C neeeeeds his Mama sometimes. I can't really tell you exactly why or when, but sometimes he only wants me and I have to just hold him until he's ready to go off again. He's been this way since birth. I always joke that even when he's having a great time every little bit he always comes back to 'check-in' with his Mama. Usually he will climb up in my lap and just cuddle/snuggle for however long it takes until he is ready to go again. Sometimes it's for 30 seconds sometimes it's for 30 minutes. I never know how long it will last, but I can always count on it happening and I don't mind one bit :-)
Today was no different. From the second we got out of the car he needed Mama with is why I am in a few pictures. After about 15 minutes (and a few skittles from the photographer) he started to forget he 'needed' me and I was able to slowly remove myself from the pictures. It also helped that he saw Sophia dancing/modeling/posing for the camera and it totally distracted him. Even though sometimes (like today) it isn't ideal to have a little one that gets a little needy I wouldn't trade it for anything. Sophia was always so independent and it's actually really nice to have one of each :-)
The pictures turned out great and I'm so glad it all worked out! These pics did convince me to finally cut C's hair though. Lol!
This was at the beginning. His little eyes were swollen from crying when I tried to sit him down :-(
I absolutely love that pout.
These pictures are SO Sophia! The photographer just followed her around letting her do 'her thing'. Love it!
Love this one. They are ALWAYS kissing/hugging on each other. I'm sure it will stop someday, but right now I am just soaking it all in :-)
I could not love him any more than I already do :-)
