Fall Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken by my good friend, Anna of Laughlin House Photography, at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth. The weather was great, our outfits coordinated and we had a fabulous photographer. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, a toddler that will hold still for more than two seconds!
Even though Sophia had absolutely no interest in posing for pictures, we still got some pretty cute ones. She was so excited about all the new things and people to look at that we were basically following her the whole time. Obviously she was trying to show her serious, studious side by not smiling one single time. We still think she still looks adorable though!
The Mommy guilt hit full force when we back got to the car to change her and discovered she had been sitting in diarrhea the whole time :-/  Sophia is on the strongest form of antibiotics (aside from IV) to get rid of her five-week long double ear infection. The meds give her terrible diarrhea around the clock, which of course leaves her little bottom so raw.  So sad :-(  But it totally explains why our normally smiley little girl was so serious.  Poor thing!
