One of my best friends from college, Katie, had twin boys (Hunter and Cooper) in April. I know how hard it is to have a newborn, but I can not imagine how challenging it would be to have twins. Another friend of ours from college, Lacy, and I decided to fly to Phoenix and surprise her. Her husband, Shane, was also in on the plan and he helped us coordinate all the details without Katie finding out.
When we walked in the front door I'm pretty sure Katie almost went into cardiac arrest. She was so excited and so were we! Lacy and I got to snuggle those sweet boys all weekend :-) Not to mention, we had a blast catching up with Katie and having lots of quality girl time. One of the nights Lacy and I watched the little peanuts so Katie and Shane could have their first date night in quite a while. Such a fun weekend!
