Around the time Sophia turned two, she began requesting 'stories' instead of books at nap time and a bed time. Then a few months ago she became the one telling us the 'stories'. By 'stories' I mean that sometimes she repeats an entire book or movie that she has seen, but most of the time she makes up an entire story on her own. I have so many recorded, but for some reason I can NOT get them to upload to the blog. They are actually quite impressive for a 2 1/2 year old. This girl has got some imagination!
Anyway, this particular afternoon I was working on the computer while she was having independent play time, and all of a sudden this girl walks in! I could not stop giggling because she looked so darn cute! I asked her if she was playing dress up and she told me that she was dressed like the princess in her story. Then she preceded to tell me a long, detailed story about this special princess. It was actually a pretty interesting story, which is good because I heard it several more times that afternoon. This little girl amazes me everyday with her intelligence and creativity. But I'm also her Mom, so I'm a little biased :-)
The pink gummy teether is for the beginning of the story when the princess is a baby. Haha! :-)
