Sophia performed two times at First Fest this year. First Fest is our church's (FBC Arlington) annual fall festival, complete with bounce houses and trunk-or-treating. First she performed with her Tap & Ballet class and then again with the Performing Company. Since First Fest is always on the official trick-or-treating night, we had to rush back to our neighborhood so we could enjoy the festivities and also so S can trick-or-treat with her neighborhood friends. More on that in the next post!
First the girls did a tap dance to a song from The Little Mermaid...
Waiting to 'pop' up
(S is on the far right)
They loooove the pointing part!
Such a cute dance!
One of Sophia's favorite things is watching all the other girls perform, especially the big girls. She could seriously sit and watch them for hours. (The make-up still throws me off a little so we only do blush and lipstick. I just felt like eye make-up on a three year old is a bit ridiculous and really hard not to smudge. On the other hand she pulls off red lipstick way better than me!)
Their PC teacher, Ms Jodi, walking them on stage for their dance to the Elvis song, "I'm All Shook Up".
(S is second from the left)
This on makes me giggle... they look like they are all 'striking a pose'. So cute!
Again, they're loving the finger pointing!
Skipping in circles...
Doing a little shimmy
The girls really love this dance!
We always try to get a pic of these two sweet friends. It never fails... one of them is always looking the wrong way, not smiling, out of focus or all of the above. Needless to say, we take what we can get :-)
I look pretty rough, but I love how sweet S looks :-) Can those dimples get any cuter? !
I was just thinking about next year at First Fest... Sophia will have just turned 4 and baby peanut will be about a week shy of 6 months old. CRAZY!!!
