Disney Princesses on Ice!

It was super last minute (literally three hours before) that I decided that I wanted to take Sophia to see the Disney Princesses on Ice.  While Sophia was napping I looked online for tickets.  The only seats left were in the nosebleed section of the AA arena (which you would need binoculars for) and everything else was sold out.  I was so sad until... I noticed that the Spanish show had front row seats left! I was so excited!!! I called Dan (he was golfing) and told him the show started in two hours.  Being the amazing dad that he is, he cut his golf round short and headed home so we could go to the show :-)  When we woke S up we told her we were going to watch all her favorite princesses skate on ice. She was thrilled!  If I had a picture it would have looked something like this...

She was beyond excited!  We didn't mention that the show was in Spanish.  She hears enough Spanish at school, talking with Maria, and on tv that we didn't think she would mind at all.  She watched the entire show completely mesmerized and never even mentioned it was all in Spanish. Too funny.

The funny thing is that we had several people stop us (the parking guy, lady taking tickets, another lady selling programs) and say, "You do know this is the Spanish show, right?" Haha!  It was hilarious.  We told them thank you, but yes, we were aware.  I'm pretty sure we were the only non-Hispanic people there.  It was pretty funny watching everyones reaction as we walked by.  Lol :-)

Love this girl so much!

Checking out the program with Daddy

Watching the first princess come out...

This is what she looked like during the entire show...

When I asked her if she was having a good time, she didn't even take her eyes off the show and gave me a thumbs up.  Too cute! :-)

It was so fun even if I understood less than 25% of what they were saying :-)  We will probably go again next year!  I'l definitely plan it in advance and get tickets to the English show.  Haha!
