Mimi Debbie rode the train down from Oklahoma to visit us this week. She said it was really cool and only took four hours. It normally takes 3 hours 15 minutes with no stops and no traffic (which rarely happens) so four hours isn't too bad. The only down side is the only time for the FW to OKC train is 5:30-9:30 at night. Other than that it is a great idea!
We hadn't planned on Sophia going home with her, but Mimi insisted and S was super excited to ride on the train. It was nice to have some done time and get a few things done before baby Carsten gets here :-) Mimi sent us these pictures from her phone while they were on the train...

The conductors gave her a special train book so she could learn all about trains. Too cool!
Apparently they made several trips to the bathroom to wash hands
and take some pictures :-) Yes, that is in the bathroom.
This girl had an absolute BLAST on the train!
I would highly recommend it for anyone traveling to OK with small children. No traffic, no driving and your kids LOVE it!
