We had lots of family and friends come visit baby C while we were at the hospital. I'm not sure how it happen, but we didn't get pictures of them for one reason or another (mostly me forgetting to get out the camera). It has been nice that all of the visitors came in the evenings so I could snuggle/nap with C most of the day. Dan has been going to work, and coming by at lunch and before/after work. My Mom has been taking care of Sophia which has also been great. She's been bringing her to the hospital in between her activities and school so I could snuggle her too :-)
C is such a calm and content baby. I'm hoping he stays this way and it's not just my pain meds :-) He got circumcised this morning (day 3) and didn't even cry. Both nurses and our pediatrician, Dr Mercer, swear he didn't make a peep. Dan doesn't believe them, but I am going to choose to :-) He has been sleeping 3-4 hours at a time which has been really great. When he actually wakes up he is a great nurser, but he quickly falls back to sleep after eating for a few minutes. Sweet little guy :-)
He loves to snuggle and sleep on my chest, and I love it too. The nurses kept telling me to put him to sleep in his little plastic crib thing, but I told them no thank you :-) They did NOT want C and I co-sleeping at all, especially at night. Honestly, I think that is why we both slept so good and I felt so rested. I just think that he will have plenty of time to sleep by himself later. So for now I'm going to snuggle my warm, little love bug :-)
Sophia came to visit again this morning. She loves laying in "Mommy's bed" and watching movies and I love having her here :-)
Mimi Beckie and Poppa Larry came to visit again today too :-)
S's hair was kind of a hot mess, but man she loves her baby brother.
She was singing to him... in Spanish of course!
She really loves him :-)
We are so blessed!
