Today was my first day at home with two kiddos and it was definitely easier than I had anticipated. My Mom left Saturday and Dan went back to work today so I was on my own. My c-setion incision is still pretty tender and sore, but it's not too bad. Sophia was so helpful and kept herself busy with art projects while I was nursing. C is so patient and calm, and seems so laid back. Love his sweet personality. The only time things got tricky was when they both wanted to eat at the same time. So I nursed C in the sling while I made S and I a grilled cheese. By the time our lunch was ready C was fast asleep in the sling. Crisis averted :-)
My sweet, sleepy boy. I can't believe he is already a week old!
S enjoying her lunch and watching a show on our bed. She thought it was such a treat to have a 'picnic' on Mommy and Daddy's bed :-)
Later that evening, Dan and Brian took Sophia and Haley to a rangers game. It was Sophia's first game and she loved it! Dan said she had a blast. Although I was sad to miss it I loved my alone time with C. The girls were adorable in their matching Rangers dresses :-)
They were so excited for the game!
These two have been friends since birth. They really love each other and have such a special bond :-)
Sweet girl with Daddy at the game :-)
After they left for the game Kristin and I also hung out and had some yummy desserts while we fed the babies. It was C's first time to meet little Brookie and we didn't even get a picture :-( Net time!
