Our sweet neighbors, the Schorstens, moved to Aledo and we went to visit them for the first time today. Our neighborhood just isn't the same since our favorite families (the Cooks and the Schorstens) recently moved out. Anna, Kristin and I were all pregnant with the girls at the same time and they basically think they are sisters. S has always called it "our village" instead of our neighborhood, and she is SO right. We love our village and I truly can't imagine how the last five years could have been any better. Daily play dates/walks, impromptu family dinners, movies nights with the monitors, after bedtime adult drinks and outings to Braums... I could go on and on. God truly knew what he was doing putting us here. Even though they have moved I know that we will remain close with both families, and I can't wait to get to see all the kids grow up together :-)
