Girls trip to Napa! Also known as #happyinnapa {May 2014}

I went to Napa with some girlfriends from our old church and it was amazing! It was such a good time for so many reasons. Fun girlfriends, super organized planner (Gara), trip photographer (Melanie), adorable cottage, swag bags, private chef, perfect weather, delicious food and of course yummy wine. It was perfect so we decided to do a girls trip every year! :-)

We flew into San Fran and did a tiny bit of sight seeing on our drive to Napa...

How cute was out little cottage?! It was surprisingly large and slept about 20 comfortably. It even had its own little vineyard instead of grass. Adorable.

We rented several cars since there were so many of us. These girls (plus Mel who took the pic) and I were in a car for the weekend. We had dinner at the cutest little place in Napa (of course I can't remember the name. Ha!)

My second favorite, Domaine Carneros. It may have been the most beautiful though!

If you know me then you know I always have a sun hat with me when I know I'm going to be outside. So of course I had my cute gold hat with me :-) Thank goodness I did because this hat made the last stop so much fun! We ended up passing it around and doing a mini photo shoot while we were drinking our champagne. The other girls had already gone inside so we didn't get their head shot, but it was hysterical. While I'm typing this it doesn't sound so funny, but trust me… it was hysterical! Mainly because some of us (mainly me) are SO awkward when it comes to the camera. Ha! We laughed SOOOOO hard! It went something like this...

Me: Wait… I've never taken a selfie (truth). What do I do??
Everyone else (5 of them were photographers!): It's easy! Just act natural. No wait… don't do that. Okay, just smile and look away. No, that doesn't work either. Just try laughing maybe?? Okay, no. Wow! You are the most awkward pretty person I have ever seen. Unbelievable.
