Mother's Day at the Lake! {May 2014}

We have been going to Possum Kingdom Lake with the Cook family for the last five years and we absolutely love it. So we thought leasing a place out these would be a good trial run instead of jumping right into purchasing. We are usually pretty busy especially on weekends and so we decided to split it with the Holtman's. That way we don't feel bad only using it two weekends out of the month. We rented a three bedroom condo at the Harbor and it is so nice! Both families went out there Mother's Day weekend to get everything set up and see if there was anything else we needed. It was great and everyone had so much fun- especially the kiddos! I can't wait for more like time this summer with some of our favorite people! :-)

Always loving on each other.  I hope this doesn't end too soon :-)

I missed seeing my Mama this weekend, but we saw her last weekend at C's birthday.  I'm so blessed to have such an amazing, loving, generous, kind, supportive Mom. I hope that I can be as wonderful to my kids as she has been to me.

I have got to get a more recent picture of her and I! :-/
(PS where was my root boost spray that day?! I will give myself some slack since I had just had Carsten 9 days before. Haha!)
