We spent most of the holiday weekend at the pool trying to survive this incredible July heat. After nap time today we took Sophia to the train station to get some pictures in her adorable Fourth of July outfit. Remember this dress from last year? (Scroll to the bottom of the post.) It was beyond sweltering so I knew we had to make it fast.
All three of us get really, really crabby when we are hot. Not to mention it was just before dinner so we were all pretty hungry. Not a good combo, but S (and Dan) did amazing! We were only there for a total of about 15 minutes, and I got a ton of cute pics of her. She was even posing on her own! Here are some of our favorites...

We were totally done taking pictures, but she was being so silly I had to take a couple more. So grainy but I LOVE those dimples!
These were from just before we left. Can you tell how hot she is? Her face was so red and she was actually sweating. I'm pretty sure Dan was hot too. But they were both such troopers! :-)
