We had three rounds of birthday celebrations for Sophia this year. I'm not quite sure how that happened, but she sure loved it! The first celebration was with family at home, the second was with friends at the park and the third was in San Antonio (post coming soon).
Today we celebrated Sophia's third birthday with her friends at Pantego park. For several months (since Haley's party at the park) she had been saying that she wanted to have her birthday party at the park, which sounded good to us! It is the cutest, cleanest little park and was perfect for a stress-free party. The kids played on the toddler size playground and in the giant sandbox while the Mom's enjoyed brunch, coffee and adult conversation. It was a beautiful morning to celebrate our sweet girl turning three :-)
Just before it was time to sing Happy Birthday, S was climbing onto the bench of the picnic table to sit down and fell face first into the metal table. Needless to say it hurt pretty bad and I had to administer lots of hugs and kisses. Bless her little heart. I'm pretty sure the cupcakes helped ease the pain a little too :-)
S was so excited to have a picnic on the playground :-) We do this sometimes when the weather is nice and it's one of her favorite things :-)

I love this picture. It was so funny how quiet it got when the girls started eating their cupcakes. Complete silence. Haha! And I love all the icing mustaches :-)

She ended up opening some of her presents which was of course a big hit!
