Turtle Sandcastle & a Sand Scrub

We had a blast building a turtle sandcastle with Sophia.

Sophia decided that she would reward Daddy for all his hard work and give him a spa treatment ;-)

There is nothing better than a 'sand scrub' on your slightly sunburned back

I decided to join in on the exfoliation fun ;-)

Dan was a good sport and kept building away

while Mommy and Sophia took a break  ;-)

The finished product...

Sophia decided she wanted to ride the sand turtle.

It was fun at first...

and then she started doing some bull-riding moves.

I'm pretty sure she thought the turtle was about to take off.

You can see her dimples in the one.  I love it!

She wasn't quite sure how to dismount from the turtle.

Dan finally picked her up so she wouldn't hurt the turtle (or herself) trying to get down.

I have to say that for picture purposes, it sure was nice that she was immobile for a few seconds ;-)
