We celebrated Christmas with my side of the family a little early this year. We went to my grandparents house in Dill City, America. I don't know why everyone says that instead of Dill City, Oklahoma but it has stuck :-) It is a small town in Western Oklahoma with a population of somewhere around 300ish. Anyway, it is a neat place to visit if you have family there :-)
Poppa Kent, Memphis and Grandpa Frank
Look at those eyes!
Cousin Memphis and Uncle Quent
Mimi and Sophia
Can you tell she was LOVING all the attention?
Grandpa Frank and I
Grandma Mildred has all the great-grandkids stockings hung on the fireplace mantel each year. Last year Sophia obviously couldn't spell her name, but as soon as we walked in this year she spotted the one that said S-O-P-H-I-A and was beyond excited. So funny :-)
Sophia really loved opening all the presents!
Thanking Great-grandma Mildred and Great-grandpa Frank for all her new treasures.
It is so sweet how much they love each other.
We put Sophia, Frankie and Memphis in their coordinating pajamas in hopes of getting a cute picture. Yeah right. A three year old and two two-year olds do not always smile on cue. I did get some cute candids though :-)
S loved this little bear!
What a cutie!
Ummmm.... strike a pose?!
Frankie is a bit out of focus, but I loved the sweetness of this moment.
At least they were looking in the same direction. Kind of.
Aren't Frankie's eyes so beautiful? They are the exact same eye color as Grandpa Frank, who she is named after.
Blurry but so cute :-)
I almost see dimples!
It was wonderful to see all of our extended family on the Thionnet side. Sophia LOVES playing with her cousins and she had an absolute blast. There were about 30 people there and so Dill City's population was up 10% that weekend :-) Haha!
