Sophia had her two-year check-up this morning with her pediatrician, Dr M. It was an interesting appointment to say the least. Her percentiles are exactly where they have been since she was born (height- 98%, weight- 50%). She looked to be in perfect health, praise the Lord! Her tubes fell out sometime last summer, and she hasn't had an ear infection since last March. Another huge praise!
The appointment was so interesting because every question Dr. M asked Dan and I, Sophia went ahead and answered for herself. No lack of words here. He finally quit directing the questions at us and went straight to S for the answers. It was quite entertaining, and she actually got most of it right. To say Dr. M was surprised at her vocabulary is an understatement. It was pretty cute ;-)
After the check-up, we went to the zoo and saw all of Sophia's favorite animals (elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions). It was fun to have Daddy with us on a 'work day'. Then we went to McKinley's and had a yummy lunch. I'm glad I had my camera with me because she was all smiles!
Sweet girl!
Daddy and Sophia
Look how green her eyes look with the yellow/green leaves in the background (no editing). Then above they are picking up the brown from the stroller seat. Dan's eyes do that too :-)
Sophia was totally posing for me at lunch! It is a little out of focus, but precious anyway!
