Pumpkin Patch & A Metal Cow

Anna and I decided to take S and C on a fun outing to help pass the time after we picked them up from MDO.  We were inspired by the gorgeous fall weather and decided to go on an outing to the pumpkin patch. The first pumpkin patch we went to had apparently been invaded by worms, and the whole crop of pumpkins died. YUCKY!  After changing the girls into their matching shirts (are you really surprised?) we got back in the car we and headed to Green's Produce.  It is an adorable little farmers market, and we knew they would have a great display of pumpkins for our attempt at a photo shoot.  If you have ever read this blog before, then you know why I would say 'attempt' at a photo shoot.

I'm pretty sure that everyone at Green's thought we were crazy lunatics as we were doing everything we could to get the girls to smile for the camera.  Or maybe that was just me since Anna was taking the pictures.  Either way, I'm certain it was quite entertaining.  S and C weren't really into posing, but they did find a metal cow and proceeded to feed it hay for about 45 minutes.  No, I'm not exaggerating.  I'm pretty sure obsessed would be the most accurate way to describe how Sophia was feeling toward the cow.  She wanted so badly to take it home, but I told her that it lived with the pumpkins and that we could come back to visit it soon ;-)  The girls had a great time, and hopefully Anna and I didn't embarrass ourselves too badly.  ;-)

Little Miss Halloween ;-)

 Aren't they so cute?
 Love these little pumpkins!

Seriously, who doesn't wear ballet flats and a tutu to the pumpkin patch?
