Arboretum Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch at the Arboretum today with Sophia's friends, Cora and Corinne, and their Mom's, Anna and Melanie.  It was a gorgeous day and we were excited to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
The girls started off by counting some pumpkins...
and then moved on to rearranging them.
Of course Sophia was trying to scale the wall of the pumpkin house ;-)
Lately Sophia has been obsessed with kicking and throwing balls.  About five minutes into our visit we had to have a serious talk about why we do not throw or kick little pumpkins. Thankfully no little pumpkins were harmed after our talk :-)
I think they reminded her of her favorite orange ball at home.
Can you tell she is trying to initiate her own game of pumpkin toss :-/

How cute are these girls?!

Miss Melanie made her laugh so Mommy could get some cute shots

Our sweet girl!
Can you see the side of the pumpkin house on the left?  It was really neat!

Looking out of the pumpkin house window.
Time for a story!

She may look really innocent in this picture, but she was
actually about to try to climb over this chain and onto the hay.
After seeing all the pumpkins, we had a yummy lunch at my favorite lunch place ever... Eatzi's!  I have missed that place SO much after moving to Fort Worth.  I try to go anytime we are in Dallas because it so delicious! What a fun day!
