A Ladybug and Two Butterflies

Every time I would ask Sophia what she wanted to be for Halloween this year she told me a ladybug or Tinkerbell.  Well I couldn't find a cute Tinkerbell costume in her size anywhere, but I did find an adorable ladybug costume on Etsy.  It even came with antennas and a ladybug wand. Too cute! I can't believe that she is big enough to pick out her own costume.  My how time flies!  Here are some pics of her first two Halloween costumes.
Of course we had to have a photo shoot with Sophia's two butterfly friends, Cora and Corinne!
Anna and I took the girls to her photography location in hopes of getting some cute shots of them like we did last Halloween.  Well, let's just say that S was less than cooperative.  It's a good thing the back of her costume is so cute because most of the pictures I got were of her walking away.  Typical toddler ;-)

This is the best I got of them together ;-(
Cora giving S a sweet hug ;-)

Sophia was really into filling up Emma's dog bowl with leaves, rocks, dog food, etc. and trying to hand feed her.  Sweet girl :-)
Anna did get S to sit and smile one time.  My camera settings were a bit off (since I am yet to master shooting in manual), but I still love that sweet face!

This is when she put herself in time-out because she was SO over pictures.  Haha!
Doesn't she look excited?  Haha ;-)

Looking for C's Grandparents

Anna got a couple cute ones of Sophia despite the fact that S gave her nothing to work with ;-)
Have I mentioned that I have the most talented friends ever? (Click on their names to see their awesomeness!) Anyway, they are talented and I'm lucky to hang-out with such cool ladies.
I think this one is so sweet ;-)
Love those eyes!

The following week, Melanie and I took the girls to the park after dance class with their costumes in tow.  Sophia was SO much more willing to participate in the photo shoot this time, and of course Corinne basically smiles on cue :-)

I'm definitely going to edit these when I get time.  So cute!

I love this picture ;-)

See the difference in how they touch each others wings?  Totally indicative of their relationship.  S is a little bit more aggressive and C has more of a gentle approach ;-)

They loved pretending to go 'night-night' on the log.

See what I mean about smiling on cue?
Sweet girl

Melanie took these pictures. Aren't they so cute?  The 'ladybug on the log' may just be the sweetest thing I have ever seen ;-)

I love my sweet ladybug!

I'm seriously LOL'ing right now. Corinne does NOT smile on cue...now maybe for Benus, but hardly EVER for her mama!!!! Sophia's sweet face has changed so much since October! Actually so has Corinne's. Wow, how much they change in just months:( Sweet girls!
