Sophia had her first Performing Company performance today at the St Maria Goretti's Fall Festival. It was so adorable! All the girls did great an we were so proud of our little dancer! There was definitely a smaller crowd than most of their other performances will have so it was perfect for the first one. They have one performance a month and we are already looking forward to the next one! It is so fun to watch our sweet girl having a blast busting a move on stage :-)
This dance has a couple partner moves and Caroline was Sophia's partner...
At the end of their routine, they're supposed to go down on their knees and stay there as the music fades. Well, in true Sophia fashion, instead of finishing the routine on her knees with the other girls, she decided to go ahead and bow a few times for her crowd. It was so funny and the crowd loved it! Add that to my mental list of favorite memories because it was such a sweet Sophia moment. S truly loves to perform and entertain so PC is right up her alley!
Watching the 'big girls' dance next. Her poor eye was still healing :-(
After the performance S got to enjoy all the fun stuff the festival had to offer, which included lots of bounce houses. We also saw our friends Larre, Peter and their sweet girl Maggie. Maggie is one of the 'big girls' that S loves playing with at Shady Valley. It works out really great especially at the pool and on Friday nights we get to have 'date nights' while she is at SV Kid's Club. Some of the bounce houses were really (meaning they had o climb straight up on one side to slide down the other side). Probably too big for a three year old, but with Maggie by her side she was able to maneuver them :-)
Sophia also got her first tast of cotton candy... she was definitely a fan!
Such a fun day!
